The wrought iron used on this knife was fairly dirty, resulting in some delaminated spots in the cladding, noticeable at the right heel, right tip, and left middle areas. I could say it adds “character,” but I really loved the weight and feel of this knife so it’s perfect for someone who doesn’t mind the imperfections.
