Chef -> Knifemaker.
Being no stranger to “yes chef” for over a decade, I certainly developed a home in the kitchen.
Cooking for me is a selfless experience, giving one the ability to be creative and bring comfort to others on a primal level.
My style of cooking is synonymous to the approach of my knives; simple yet intentional, highlighting distinctive imperfections while ensuring the purpose of the final product is wholly executed.
Kurouchi finishes are common on my knives; to honor the forging process involved in production but also to serve as an ode to preserving a products natural beauty.
Creating something that is elegant yet practical and supporting chefs with quality, affordable tools brings immense purpose to my work.

“A consistently excellent purchasing experience, and consistently excellent knives. Beautiful knives that cut well and feel good in the hand. Fantastic craftsmanship and materials. A PROD knife is a delightful knife and a quite good value, and when you pick one up you’re dealing with one of the coolest and friendliest makers in the business. You can trust in PROD.”

“They’re the best knives I have at the price point. I’ve cut well over 200# of mirepoix with my nakiri specifically and it’s still razor sharp. I’ve only been honing it! Amazing sH*t dude.”
David L.
“Fit and finish is awesome and handle fits like a glove.”

“This took me by storm. I’d kinda had a wedge monster in mind when I saw it due to the low bevel but just went with it since the overall aesthetics are super nice and his KU are really uniform. So when it arrived I just went for it at dinner prep and was blown away. Almost dead silent no steer on tall vertical cuts. Haven’t had a chance to sharpen it yet but it’s 52100 art 63 hrc if I remember correctly so it shouldn’t be a pain. Haven’t found something it doesn’t do well for my everyday cooking. Prod. Is doing a lot of things right here and are fast tracking himself right inTo my top five and maybe even higher.”
