The cladding here is made up of 7 layers of mild steel and wrought iron. It was kind of a continued experiment to get better at forge welding low to low carbon. It’s got lower bevels with a decent vertical taper that provides a smooth cutting experience. The bevels are flattened on stones and satin finished with mud and soft abrasives.
